About Alex

Born & raised in Germany, the daughter of an American opera singer and a German orchestra conductor.

Acted onstage while immersed in French & German language schools until moving to the U.S. at age 16.  Eventually caught “the bug” at Brown University and earned a B.A. in Theatre.

Started life as a performing storyteller in the San Francisco Bay Area, and spent a defining year training at Drama Studio London in the UK.

Married fellow actor William Elsman, then welcomed our son Logan Zander in 2011. Developed a passion for voice-over, with a specialty in German language projects.

Since landing in Los Angeles, bookings include TV & web commercials, various audiobooks & eLearning projects, and roles in independent films & web series.
